We run a turtle and shark tour and monitoring program in South Africa. Indian Ocean Loggerhead- and Leatherback turtles nest on our beaches.

Fully serviced house with private rooms.

When does the project run?

All year. Turtle monitoring is November to May

accommodation included, cooking facilities, electricity, local shops, near-by medical, refillable drinking water, hot shower, western toilet, wifi.

How long can I stay?

2 weeks/4 weeks/6 weeks

Requirements:

  • Over 18 years, fit and healthy.

  • Disabled persons also welcome.

Details of the day-to-day life on the project:

Marine turtle monitoring on the beaches at night. Shark conservation programs at our marine center.
